LET'S GROW TOGETHER

Let’s encourage our city officials to plant more shade trees and flower gardens near streets and sidewalks to make walking and biking more enjoyable and aesthetic. Planting shade trees will also lessen our need for air conditioning and encourage our kids to play outside rather than indoors, where they tend to use energy-consuming electronics.

Imagine planting neighborhood and community gardens, where we encourage local agriculture, bring flowers to the city,  and get to know our neighbors and other members of the community.

Let's build farm-to-school lunch programs, which directly connect people with high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers, so our children can eat healthy too.
